What a long strange, insulting, demeaning, depressing, discouraging trip it's been.
All those negative adjectives I attribute to Hillary Clinton, someone who I used to admire and respect. No longer.
Fortunately, this trip has ALSO been inspiring, encouraging, exciting and intoxicating.
All those adjectives I attribute to Barack Obama. As soon as it is clinched, I'll be calling the local Obama office to see what kind of help they could use. And make a donation. And get a bumpersticker. And get a yard sign. And buttons. And balloons. And whatever else they have.
Finally.
I'm just sayin'...

Some folks sleep on a problem, but you can camp on one as well. Camping is for the mind what a high-speed run on the highway is for a car. It tends to blow out all the sludge that accumulates in the type of urban driving most of us are forced to do in order to earn a living.
-- Tim Cahill
To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.
-- Francois de La Rochefoucauld

-- Wendell Berry
