7/1/2008 - New Issue of Half Square!

The latest issue of Half Square ("Caught Between Being Cool and Being Square") is up. I can particularly draw your attention the article by the Bald Guy. I hear he's mostly cool ;)

I'm just sayin'...

You know, I'm not really much on traveling myself. I don't have the money to travel now, plus there's the issue of saving gas. And though I like seeing other places, I hate the process of getting from one place to another, be it by car or by plane. Don't even mention taking the bus -- I'd rather go over Niagara Falls in a barrel than travel by bus.

Like you, I find plenty to keep myself busy with, though in different ways, in my own town.

Hey, I've seen him somewhere!

I'm not a homebody, I'm a hermit. I have no connection to home except for it being the place where I happen to live for the moment :(

Terrific article! :) I'm much the same way, content to be puttering around my own farm, with the occasional trip to town for grub or a garden hose. Yeah, road trips are fun & all that, but there's no place like home! :D

When your home is mobile you can have the best of both worlds - that's how I feel when I'm off in Moon Palace!

Some folks sleep on a problem, but you can camp on one as well. Camping is for the mind what a high-speed run on the highway is for a car. It tends to blow out all the sludge that accumulates in the type of urban driving most of us are forced to do in order to earn a living.
-- Tim Cahill

To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.

The most alarming sign of the state of our society now is that our leaders have the courage to sacrifice the lives of young people in war but not the courage to tell us that we must be less greedy and wasteful.
