That was pretty stupid of them...on several counts. I don't have any problem awarding no bid contracts to US companies, provided there's a pledge of substantial kickback to the government to pay for war expenses.
But risking peace by awarding a contract before the framework is a really bad idea...and lying about it at all is pointless. |
